Recently I was contacted by a customer having trouble viewing attachments in some emails.
This was a bit strange as Good normally works quite “good”.
This person frequently receives email carrying more than 40(!) attachments. Outlook would show all the attachments but the Good for Enterprise app would only show “a small part” of them. I couldn’t help to mention other ways than by email to exchange these amounts of documents.
After searching for “maximum attachments” I hit upon article id 591 at the Good support site. It seems there is indeed a maximum. This limit by default at 16 attachments but it is configurable. The default seems to be well chosen as this was the first time I was confronted with this limit in one year of Good for Enterprise deployment.
Changing the limit is quite easy, update a registry entry and restart the required services.
